Mr. Rease was not here. We had to complete the Common Lit assignment on Resistance to the Vietnam War.
2/7/24
Today we started the topic on Black history month and talked about how Denzel Washington had a historical impact in African American history by being an African American male actor that won an Oscar for best actor. We also talked about racism and how it impacts the world and how would the world be different if racism didn’t exist. We continued on presentations on the SOW activity.
2/6/24
We continued on presentations and I presented my trash can project. We then continued to read the SOW and answered some individual questions about what we read. What I got out of that reading was how Kien felt two types of love towards Phoung before and after the war. Everyone got to share their questions and answers.
2/5/24
Today we had to turn in our pages 122-135 of the SOW activity in and also present. Some classmates presented their projects and I got to see there thoughts on what they think of the book or character. The music playlist projects were the most interesting because of the different music they chose for each scenario.
