 We worked on a worksheet about the three different types of claim which were claims of fact, claims of value, and claims of policy. We were given or to choose a topic and make a claim that fits the type of claim. We were to come up with some arguable claims.

We had to complete some discussion questions before reading the story "Devoted Son". The questions were mostly culture questions that also connected to the story and probably what the story would be about. Cultural connection to the story. Pretty interesting to know about what the story revolves around with culture and by answering these questions I can tell that it will be about probably culture expectations on a son.
